The lake and its surroundings are home to a wide range of natural landscapes &#8211; from extensive forests and marshes to meadows &#8211; all of which provide habitats for a variety of bird and fish species. This diversity provides a great opportunity to observe and explore nature.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Birdlife Richness<\/h4>\n\n<p>Lake Peipsi is particularly famous for its birdlife, providing nesting and stopover sites for a wide variety of birds. Many migratory birds, waterfowl and birds of prey can be found in and around the lake, making the area extremely attractive for birdwatchers.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Waterfowl:<\/strong> A wide variety of waterfowl can be seen on the lake, including ice-eagles, various species of ducks such as waders and wagtails.
